I've made it no secret that I really respect Brett Anderson, and I think he'll respond to a bad outing last Sunday with a good one today. Fausto Carmona has been much better since being demoted to AAA, despite playing for a bad team, and I think he can stifle the A's bats who erupted yesterday. Like Dana DeMuth to give me some borderline strikes, also.

Have always liked Luke Hochevar at home, and I have enjoyed fading Blackburn on the road/in the nighttime. Blackburn has some good numbers in KC in his career, but I think Hochevar will throw a gem today and the home team will take this one thanks to Gerry Davis' significant lean to the hosts.
