My Bold Predictions
Had to get a little creative as the start of the season snuck up on me a little bit. Writing in paint is a new skill I'm gonna need to perfect.
A tough out of conference schedule including Cincinnati and Florida State should prepare Bob Stoops' team for the Red River Shootout. While I hope Texas beats the piss out of them, I don't think it's going to happen. Switching to a run offense without having a real threat at quarterback or the great running back to tote the rock will make it hard for my guys to win that game. If OU gets through Texas, they get TAMU in C-Stat and they should prevail before getting revenge on Nebraska in the Big XII Title game.
Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor has all the talent in the world, but he's yet to harness it in his two years in Columbus. He had an outstanding Rose Bowl against Pac 10 champion Oregon, but I don't want to overreact to one good game against a team that emerged from a poor defensive conference. I think Alabama and Oklahoma will steal votes from their multiple candidates, while Pryor is the biggest name at Ohio State and I have a hard time believing Alabama gets back to the title game.
