Charlotte +8.5 (+100) @ Rhode Island: 1/1 (Matchbook)
After watching URI for almost my entire life, I have learned that Jim Baron does not win big games. This would qualify as one of those as it would put URI above Charlotte in the bubble, but they aren't going to win this one by 8. I doubt they'll even win, but there are too many points here not to take the 49ers to play a tight one down to the wire.

Billikens think they can get in the tournament still, and if other teams keep dropping like flies then they truly can. They play a very slow pace, which Temple should allow them to do on the road and that is very scary for Owl backers. I'm just not impressed by Temple this season because I think they rely on distance shots without having great perimeter shooters. Juan Fernandez can certainly fill it up, but I'm making this play thinking a raucous environment will keep him from getting as hot as he was against Villanova.
