Virginia Tech -4.5 (+105) vs. Connecticut: 1/1.05 (Matchbook)
The Hokies generally draw a good crowd in Cassel each time they host a game for the NIT, and I think a lot of people will be there to see them beat a national power in UConn. While the Huskies have had a poor year, they will still have a target on their back throughout the NIT until they are eliminated. I think this happens tonight when Delaney tries to demonstrate how his team got screwed and the athleticism from the Hokies will trump a half-hearted effort from a UConn team that hates their coach. I'm expecting quite a few transfers in the off-season for those who aren't seniors and those who aren't loved by Calhoun nor love his absenteeism.
Cincinnati -3 (-120, 2H) vs. Dayton: 2.4/2 (Betphoenix)
Cincy closes the half on a 34-17 run after UD comes out firing from deep when they really aren't a 3pt shooting team. This is a big play for me because this is a perfect spot for UD to collapse like they have all year so far...
good luck
