Herb Pope is a moron, Bobby Gonzalez is a moron and Jeremy Hazell has a bad back so I wouldn't expect him to shoot the Pirates back into the game. Just gotta hope Tech keeps thinking this is a scrimmage with no Hall fans in the gym.

I bet one of Roy Williams' recruiting angles getting new players is about tradition and success at UNC. I can almost hear him saying, "We don't consider the NIT a legitimate tournament" when negative recruiting against other schools. So after hyping all his players on how they play for national titles, how is he gonna come back and tell them that this game tonight means something? That's right, he won't. Meanwhile, the Tribe are looking for a good run to build on their success and also to make their program better known to fans/media/recruits across the country. They have their opportunity tonight to get a 2nd win on the road against an ACC team, even though the Dean Dome reconstruction plan trumped hosting an NIT game. I think Bill & his bitch could take this game if they bring the 3pt shots with them on the road, but they should stay within the number all night long against an unmotivated Tar Heels.
