North Carolina State +5 (-101) vs. Maryland: 1.01/1 (Matchbook)
May buy off this one as I'm seeing +4's everywhere right now, but Maryland is on a roller-coaster of a schedule right now and I think fatigue will get to them as this will be their 3rd game in 5 days because of the snowstorm. No team has a true inside presence, and I think Tracy Smith could get something going on the interior because he's not facing towers inside like in the rest of the ACC. I also see a big revenge opportunity for a home team that got killed in College Park a few weeks ago.
Ohio State -3 (-107) vs. Purdue: 1.07/1 (Matchbook)
The Buckeyes are a great team that won in West Lafayette sending Purdue on a slide early in conference play. Evan Turner is a terrible match-up for Purdue, and he can do a great job matching up with E'Twaun Moore who is actually Purdue's most dependable scorer. I fear Robbie Hummel going off, but the lower-ranked (and better) team here should take this one at home. I don't think Purdue can steal the game here, so a few made free throws at the end should salt this away.
Tennessee -12.5 (+103) vs. Georgia: 1/1.03 (Matchbook)
Here comes a major revenge game where the Vols will want to rebound from a bad finish against UK, and they will want to repay the Dawgs for a blowout loss in Athens about a month ago. I had UGA in that game, but this is a pretty big rivalry game and the Rocky Top crowd will pull this team to a blowout victory.
Arkansas -4 (+112) vs. South Carolina: 1/1.12 (Matchbook)
Got some of this at 3.5 and some at 4, but for records sake I'll mark it as 4 until it pushes and I immediately have a problem. Basically in this one Devan Downey has found his equal in Courtney Fortson, and Fortson will make it very difficult for double D to drive and score. Jimmy Dykes actually mentioned how Downey would struggle in this match-up a few weeks ago, and I've been looking forward to this one since then. I think Arkansas has an advantage on the interior, and they have too quick of a guard to trap in Fortson because he will find Rotnei Clarke for open jumpers all night long if Darrin Horn doesn't adjust out of the press.
