Cincinnati +6.5 (+109) @ Connecticut: 1/1.09 (Matchbook)
Tough emotional spot for UConn as Jim Calhoun returns and they're in a sandwich spot. A tough loss to Syracuse (i lost ATS) then they play Cincy before seeing Villanova next week. I think this is a tough match-up for them, as Cincy was a 2-point favorite earlier in the season and the game went down to the buzzer. Just love the rebounding advantage that Cincy has, and that they should stop UConn's transition game making it very hard to score.
Baylor -4 (+100) vs. Missouri: 1/1 (Matchbook)
This Baylor team is made to break presses as they are all about athleticism. Mizzou struggles on the road because they don't make enough deep shots to really get the press going. The Tigers are going to need a great game from the perimeter to stay competitive here, and I don't think they can do it.
Nebraska +14 (-106) @ Texas: 2.12/2 (Matchbook)
This play isn't for the faint of heart. Texas is still getting ridiculous lines for a team that seems unable to gel when there's even an ounce of insecurity. The freshmen have no idea what's going on, and that's Rick Barnes fault. On the other side is Doc Sadler who plays a very stagnant game of basketball that has frustrated us ever since I've been at UT. We lost to them in Lincoln last year. We lost ATS at home a few years ago in a game we probably should have lost, too. I'm worried about the size disparity inside, but this team is begging for wins and asking them to cover DDs at all is too much (let alone 14).
Wake Forest -3 (+107) vs. Georgia Tech: 1/1.07 (Matchbook)
Better team isn't ranked in this situation, and they're laying points for good reason. This will be a great match-up of athletic bigs, but the home court and dare I say better coach will do a lot for the Deacs. I'm not afraid to say I have loved this WFU team all year, though...
Kentucky -5.5 (-125, 2H) vs. Tennessee: 1.25/1 (Dimeline)
One bad half gives some value for a much superior team at home.
good luck
