1/9

Missouri -2 (-110, 2H) vs. Kansas State: 1.1/1 (Dimeline)
Tons of momentum on Mizzou's side closing with a 15-2 run. They were struggling early because they left Jacob Pullen alone, but they won't do that in the 2H. I think the inexperience of KSU is showing, and they don't have a good enough coach to pull 'em through it. Dixon coming back into the game in the 2H will be huge, too, now that he can play aggressive after sitting for much of the 1H with 2 fouls.

Cincinnati -3 (+105) vs. New York J: 1/1.05 (Bookmaker)
Fading the rookie on the road in a hostile environment.

UTEP -1 (-110) vs. Brigham Young: 1.1/1 (Dimeline)
Jimmer Fredette is DOUBTFUL right now and I'm thinking he'll either be ineffective or he'll miss a big game in El Paso. I'm hearing mono, but he's lost 8 pounds since he got sick and was wearing long sleeves in his last game making it very difficult for him to shoot like he usually does. I think he makes that team go because defenses have to account for his shooting ability, and now UTEP can pack in and rebound more. This will be a big advantage, and I don't think BYU can match-up with Derrick Caracter on the interior. Also seems like a dream match-up for Randy Culpepper to use his speed and athleticism in the open floor. Should be a raucous crowd, too.

California -9.5 (-110) vs. USC: 1.1/1 (Dimeline)
The Golden Bears were shocked by Ucla in overtime on Wednesday. I was rooting hard for Ucla in that one hoping for some better value on the Bears for this game, and while I think it helped i'm still shocked to see the line this high. That tells me oddsmakers expect the Trojans to really be in trouble mentally after the announcement that they will be ineligible for postseason play. Mike Gerrity has been quoted about saying how they want to fight for the first regular season championship, but I don't buy it. The other guys have got to be crushed, and I think Cal will be very upset about blowing an 8-pt halftime lead and losing on a buzzer-beater last time out. USC's ineptitude at the FT line, and their difficulty to score will really hurt them here. Cal can shoot the lights out, and USC's team isn't really equipped to stop that. I think USC has an advantage inside, but it may not matter if the Bears get off to a good start.

good luck
