Cornell +22 (-110) @ Kansas: 1.1/1 (Bookmaker)
Still think this KU team is close to losing. Seeing 3 touchdowns is ridiculous in this game even with the HCA at the Phog. I hate playing against KU there, but this Ryan Whitman kid is for real. He could shoot his way out of a phonebooth and the team also has a big man named Jeff Foote. I don't think he will make Aldrich look like a little girl, but he can hold his own on the boards and alter some shots if KU tries to come inside. Louis Dale, a very athletic PG, returns from a knee injury and his back-up Wroblewski got some good time out there in the last 3 games to be serviceable, and it will take a HUGE effort from KU and their crowd to cover this line considering all this, oh, and they have TENNESSEE on deck.
Syracuse -9 (-110) vs. Memphis: 1.1/1 (Bookmaker)
Got most of this at 8.5, but I'll put 9 because that's where I had to finish it off. Basically, Syracuse responds very well to losses. I really don't know how Pitt shot as well as they did from the perimeter, but Memphis is not the team to do that. They have one outside shooter in Duke transfer Elliot Williams, but he's really not a knock-down shooter like most Duke players are. The 2-3 match-up zone will be going all day long, and I really think Arinze Onuaku and Rick Jackson will have a field day scoring and on the boards against a thin (besides #4) Memphis frontline.
Marquette -3 (-110) vs. Georgetown: 1.1/1 (Dimeline)
Got the unranked favorite here, and I really think Marquette is going to keep this one from slipping away unlike the WVU and Villanova games. It's very hard for a team to get up emotionally three games in a row, but the Golden Eagles don't really have a chance as a road trip to 'Nova is next. I'm worried about how MU is going to guard Chris Wright, but I think Buycks or Johnson-Odom can take the task. The guards on the home team will make it very hard for the backdoor cuts that G'Town employs mainly because those are best used on teams that can't switch. The Eagles have a ton of interchangeable parts, and I think Lazar Hayward is going to win POTY in the Big East. He is the heart and soul of that team so he'll need to stay out of foul trouble if they're going to get their first Big East win.
good luck
