Virginia Tech -3 (-110) vs. Miami: 1.1/1 (Dimeline)
Don't respect Miami, and I definitely don't respect them away from home. Meanwhile, VT let the UNC game slide away from them and even though that happened I think Seth Greenberg will get his team fired up because they need a win. The game will be won on the interior where they really need to slow down Dwayne Collins. I think they can do that if they give half the effort on the glass like they did against the 'Heels. I don't think Miami can shoot their way back into the game, and so I'll put some coin behind Malcolm Delaney getting a lead and holding on to it.

Northwestern ML (+135) vs. Wisconsin: 0.851/1.148 (Dimeline)
This NW team is full of shooters and they play a very efficient form of the Princeton offense that could really stun the Badgers. Missing F Jon Leuer is a big problem for Wisconsin, who is coming off a HUGE win at home against Purdue. Evanston is no Kohl Center, though, and I think the Wildcats realize they need a win after letting the game slip away against Michigan State two Saturdays ago. Think Leuer would have provided some match-up problems for NW, but his absence isn't a huge reason for this play.
