The Cocks are a great defensive team and after watching Alabama win mainly because of overrated Mississippi's mistakes, I think there's value in fading the best team in the nation. Now I try to avoid fading the big boys, but Alabama has a big rivalry game on deck with Tennessee no matter how the Vols are playing. I don't like the shotgun offense that Bama employs because I feel they could just run all over everyone if they just went to power formations. Also, Julio Jones has been a disappointment so far this season so I guess I will put my money behind Stephen Garcia. All we need is 10 points from South Carolina, i'm guessing, to cover and I think they can do it if they can take care of the football.
Central Florida +14.5 (-102) vs. Miami FL: 2.04/2 (Matchbook)
Look-ahead factor here for The U and they're playing a team who can run and control the clock. Hoping for a low-scoring game, but there's no weather issues here. Also think UCF can get a pass rush so that'll be good for disrupting a starter like Jacory Harris who only plays well with tons of protection.
Oklahoma-Texas UNDER 52 (+103): 2/2.06 (Matchbook)
Have said it before, but I really don't think the OU OL can withstand a heavy rush from UT. I'm worried about a very tight game making me seize up if I have money on UT along with my rooting for them, but I think this will sail below the total considering it's going to be a much colder day than usual (62-degrees at gametime) and we've got struggling offenses who don't know exactly what they're doing. I think the UT running game will struggle with OU's DL, and Muschamp will blitz all game long throwing Sam Bradford all over the place in the backfield. Not exactly what people were expecting pre-season, but my prediction for the game (which i hate doing):
