"UNC would normally be a team i want to back here, but something is killing me.
When i was making lines about what I wanted to see for backing VT i had -16.5
...i'm not sure if i was drunk or what, cuz i was drinking in my Dallas hotel room at the time when i wrote those things up, but it was the first on my card that I looked at and those usually get my best attention.
I think it's the combo of line dropping (curious), VT off a bye, UNC's collapse at home against FSU, the HFA in Blacksburg and UNC's inability to play 2Hs well. I normally love fading power running teams with teams who can slow them down, though."

Mississippi-Auburn UNDER 49 (-111): 2.22/2 (Matchbook)
Bad weather is scheduled to start at noon and it should rain until 6 pm. That's good for a few points, and we got a banged up and young line for Ole Miss playing against a team whose offense has completely imploded since the SEC schedule began. I'd love for the Rebels to make Chris Todd beat them because I don't think he's the man to do it. I would much rather see Kodi Burns in there, but i'll take that he's not in there except in special packages. DE Greg Hardy should be over that ankle injury and he'll make it a tough day for the AU offense. The War Eagles also struggle mightily in early starts, so that's another plus as long as Chizik's defense comes to play.
South Carolina ML (+200) @ Tennessee: 1.175/2.35 (Matchbook)
All of my order wasn't filled, about 0.158 units so I'm gonna see what happens and either get some more at a better price or just leave it as is. Great news hearing WR Alshon Jeffery is healthy enough to practice today. Just don't think UT is good enough to be laying points here so that's why I went ML instead of ATS. Spurrier doesn't respect Lane Kiffin and I think a lot of players are upset about the pumping gas comments Kiffin made. I would enjoy a big hit here to start the second half of the season on a good note.
| Tulane +36 (+101) @ LSU: 2/2.02 (Matchbook) Major look-ahead factor for LSU considering they have a trip to Tuscaloosa to play Alabama on deck. Don't care for Tulane too much, but I think LSU has trouble scoring 5 touchdowns and I doubt Les Miles will want to kill an in-state cupcake considering this is the last year of their annual "rivalry" date. Rutgers +7.5 (-110) @ Connecticut: 2.2/2 (Matchbook) I may be a mean person for playing against this UConn team, but I was very close to playing them last week so I don't think i'm that bad of a guy. Anyways, I think the RU power run game will keep them in this game until the end. They have a huge line and they should be bigger than an emotional UConn team who missed a lot of practice attending Jazz Howard's funeral and they don't beat teams badly anyways. Also think they're due for an ATS loss because UConn alums have been lining their pockets all year long. final card: Mississippi-Auburn UNDER 49 (-111): 2.22/2 Rutgers +7.5 (-110) @ Connecticut: 2.2/2 South Carolina ML (+200) @ Tennessee: 1.175/2.35 Tulane +36 (+101) @ LSU: 2/2.02 good luck | |
